ALBUFEIRA

Albufeira is one of Portugal's regions with the greatest number of Blue Flag awards, which are prizes that certify the quality of the beaches in terms of cleanliness, accessibility and water quality. Pescadores Beach is a must-see spot for tourists. It is the setting for many sporting and cultural events in summer. One of the most famous events held here is a beach volleyball tournament.

During summer, the Albufeira region also organises diverse events on all of the area's beaches. These can include exercise classes and more.
